This policy explains how DDV Transport Service Corp. handles the personal information it receives through ddvtransport.com. The site is technically operated by DEOCAs LLC, a company registered in the State of Florida and responsible for the design, maintenance and digital security of the website.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers ddvtransport.com and the forms submitted from it, and nothing else. It does not cover commercial documentation or transport contracts, which are governed by the agreements signed with DDV Transport Service Corp. for each shipment, and it does not cover how carriers, airlines, customs brokers or authorities handle your data once it must be presented to them to move a shipment.

Information we collect

We collect what you give us and the minimum the server needs to run. There are no user accounts, no customer profiles, and we do not buy data from third parties.

• Contact details you type into the quote or contact form: name, email, phone, destination country or city, and company if you provide one.
• Cargo details you describe: type of goods, quantities, origin, destination, transport preference, and any file you choose to attach.
• The free-text message you write, with whatever content you decide to include in it.
• Basic technical data the server records when it serves a page: IP address, browser type, page requested, and date and time.

What we use your information for

We use your data to answer you and to operate a shipment, not to profile you.

• Answering your quote request or message and following up on it.
• Coordinating the shipment: booking space, preparing documentation and staying in touch with you while the cargo moves.
• Keeping an internal record of the requests we receive so we can pick up an earlier conversation.
• Detecting and blocking automated or abusive form submissions.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. We share it only when it is necessary to deliver the service you asked for — with the carrier, airline or customs broker involved in your shipment, for example — or when a competent authority requires it by law.

Cookies this site uses

This site uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookies it may set are these:

• A language cookie, which remembers whether you are reading the site in Spanish or in English.
• An admin session cookie, created only when a member of the DDV team signs in to manage content. If you are a visitor, that cookie is never created.

Site analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to see how many visits each page receives and which countries they come from, in aggregate. We do not use Google Analytics or any other advertising tracker. Vercel Analytics sets no cookies, creates no persistent identifier in your browser, and does not allow anyone to reconstruct one person's browsing across sites.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of providers that process data on our behalf in order to run the site:

• Vercel, which hosts the site and serves the pages.
• Neon, which hosts the database where submitted requests are stored.
• Resend, which delivers the email notification for each form submission.
• WhatsApp and your own email client, when you choose to reach us that way from the links on the site. Those conversations are governed by the terms of those services, not by this policy.

Security

The site is served entirely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to the admin panel is password-protected and limited to authorised staff, and the forms are rate-limited to stop automated abuse. No internet-connected system is invulnerable, so please do not send documents through a form unless they are needed to quote your cargo.

How long we keep data

We keep quote requests and contact messages while a commercial relationship is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle questions, claims, or tax and customs obligations. Once they are no longer needed, we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under applicable Florida law and as a matter of our own practice, you can write to us at any time to:

• Find out what information about you we hold.
• Ask us to correct data that is wrong or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your information, where no legal or contractual obligation requires us to keep it.
• Ask us to stop contacting you.

This site may link to third-party pages. Once you leave ddvtransport.com this policy no longer applies: read the terms of the site you land on. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of sites we do not operate.

Changes to this policy
